THE STORY OF HOPE – Discovery the Provision of God’s Plan

Forty strategically selected Bible events, twenty from the Old Testament and twenty from the New Testament, comprise this version of The Story of Hope. Each event is beautifully visualized. A set of evangelism-focused Bible study questions is included in the material for each event. The study book also includes colorful maps of the Bible lands, highlighting where the events occurred, as well as a very informative visual of the Old Testament’s tabernacle in the wilderness. The Chronological Bridge (ChronoBridge) to Life, which follows the study of the redemptive story, summaries eight essential “eternal life or death truths” that emerge from the Bible’s story of hope.

THE HEART OF ADDICTION: A Biblical Perspective by Mark E. Shaw

RELAPSE – Biblical Prevention Strategies by Mark E. Shaw

Mark’s passion is speaking the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15-16) and seeing the Holy Spirit transforms lives through God’s Word. Dr. Shaw leads a national team of servant-leaders who point people who struggle with addictions of all kinds to Jesus Christ by giving them the “Hope of the Gospel for the Heart of Addiction.” The addictions biblical counseling network of The Addiction Connection reaches across the United States and internationally.

UNDERSTANDING TEMPTATION – The War Within Your Heart by Mark E. Shaw

We can find victory over sin and temptation when we know our own specific sinful tendencies, the power of the enemy, and what he uses to tempt us. Knowing our enemy’s plan of attack can prepare our hearts to map out a strategy for overcoming temptation. Jesus was tempted in the same three basic ways in which we are tempted: We can do what we want (Lust of the Flesh) We can have what we want (Lust of the Eyes) We can be what we want (Pride of Life) Here you will find the biblical antidotes for each of these powerful temptations, and learn to be victorious over the temptations of the heart.

CROSS TALKING – A Daily Gospel for Transforming Addicts by Mark E. Shaw

Cross Talking is a 45-day devotional filled with scriptures that will help you stay focused on the Word of God as you continue in the transformation process God has begun in your life. Each daily devotion is designed to teach you God’s perspective on “what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”

HOW PEOPLE CHANGE – by Timothy S. Lane and Paul David Tripp

What does it take for lasting change to take root in your life? If you’ve ever tried, failed, and wondered why, you need How People Change. This book explains the biblical pattern for spiritual change in a clear, practical way you can apply to the challenges of daily life as a Christian.

But change involves more than a biblical formula: you will see how God is at work to make you the person you were created to be. That powerful, loving, redemptive relationship is at the heart of all positive change you experience as a Christian on your path in life.
